Living Memorial

This Living Memorial puts faces and stories to the 270 victims murdered in the bombing of Pan American flight 103 on December 21, 1988.

The terrorist attack killed 243 passengers and 16 flight crew in the air and 11 Lockerbie residents on the ground. The victims came from
21 nations and included 190 U.S. citizens and 52 U.K. citizens. Their ages ranged from two months to 82 years.

The bombing is the deadliest terrorist attack in U.K. history and was the deadliest against U.S. civilians until September 11, 2001.
