They Ignored It as a Hoax

Connection to Pan Am 103 - Memories

6/5/2025-6/5/2025

I remember back in 1988, Alert Security was informed that there would be a bomb on Pan Am 103, and they ignored it as a hoax. The flight was originally fully booked, and almost half the passengers cancelled. I was working the next day and saw air stewardesses coming off other flights in tears; and the atmosphere at Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport was so quiet.
